The UCD Institute of Food and Health is happy to host the 2022 EFFoST/IFT-NPD International Nonthermal Processing Workshop and Short Course. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Realising the true potential of nonthermal of processing technologies in future food production’. By bringing together scientists, food manufacturers and equipment manufacturers, the Workshop will create an environment for free flow of information and will help to ensure these technologies reach their true potential in terms of commercial uptake to the benefit of all.

Oral, thesis in 3 and poster abstracts (maximum 350 words) are now invited on the four Workshop themes and should be submitted using the online abstract submission system by July 17, 2022.

The international Scientific Committee will review the submitted abstracts and notify the corresponding author about the acceptance by August 17, 2022.

The abstracts of all accepted contributions will be included within the Workshop Proceedings, which will be available to all registered conference participants.
