Jesus Frias is Professor and Academic Leader of the Environmental Sustainability and Health Institute (ESHI) at the Technological University of Dublin. Jesus is responsible for leading ESHI and supporting research the areas of environment, sustainability and health research. Since 2006 he has worked in academic management roles at TU Dublin: Before joining ESHI, he was Assistant Head of the School of Food Science and Environmental Health at TU Dublin. He has developed a research activity in food science and technology, holding a PhD in Biotechnology (Food engineering and science) from ESBUCP (Porto) and a BSc Food Science and Technology from the Facultad de Farmacia at the Universidad del Pais Vasco (Vitoria-Gasteiz).
